As a Travel Trust Association Member, we have tried to ensure that all the information contained on this website is accurate and up-to-date. However, you can always verify that information by calling us if you choose to do so.

These are the terms and conditions covering the use of this website and the purchase by you of the services and products offered by our suppliers. The products and services booked via Hi Traveller Worldwide are not supplied by us, and therefore your contract for the provision of the product and/or services will be with the named third party supplier and Hi Traveller Worldwide will be acting as agents only in all instances.

Hi Traveller Worldwide acts as a disclosed agent for third party suppliers, such as a tour operator, airline or accommodation provider. What this means is that the contract for the product is between you and the supplier. In most cases this will mean that there are additional terms and conditions governing the contract as each supplier will have terms and conditions relating to that product. Since we act as agent this will mean that we have no contractual liability to you in respect of that product.

If you are booking on the telephone, your contract will commence at the point when our sales clerk confirms your booking and takes your payment. Because the contract for the product is between you and the supplier any queries or concerns relating to the product should be addressed to them. However, we will of course assist you with your enquiries whenever we are able to do so.

When making your booking, you will undertake that the details you give to us are accurate and in particular that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the product or service purchased.

1. Flights
When you purchase a flight from Hi Traveller Worldwide, we act as agent for and on behalf of flight ticket suppliers. Your contract for the flight tickets will be with the relevant flight tickets supplier. Flight bookings made through Hi Traveller Worldwide are bonded by the relevant flight tickets supplier under that supplier’s own Air Travel Organisers Licence (ATOL). We will advise you who the supplier is at the time of booking.

Any booking made or order placed by you, shall be deemed an offer by you to purchase the relevant items subject to these booking conditions. All airlines have their own terms and conditions and the fare you pay may be non-cancellable and non-refundable. It is essential that you check the airline’s terms and conditions and comply with their requirements regarding check-in times, reconfirmation of flights, LUGGAGE ALLOWANCES, CHARGES APPLIED FOR CHECKED-IN BAGS, and any other matters. All outward and return flights must be reconfirmed with the relevant airline at least 72 hours prior to the commencement of that leg of the journey. In the event of a schedule change it is not always necessary to have your tickets revalidated but if this is necessary we will advise you accordingly and new tickets will be issued by the flight ticket supplier.

If you need to change or cancel your travel plans, you must notify Hi Traveller Worldwide in writing of any such request. Deposits will always be non-refundable, and many tickets are wholly non-refundable. Some tickets do not allow changes to be made. Hi Traveller Worldwide applies an administration fee for any modifications, changes or cancellations. This will be regardless of the price or face value of the ticket and will be in addition to any fees imposed by the relevant flight tickets supplier. If you lose your tickets, the flight tickets supplier may be able to re-issue them but this is not always possible.

2. Package Holidays
When you purchase a package holiday your contract will be with the package holiday supplier and you will be subect to their terms and conditions as well as those of Hi Traveller Worldwide. If you wish to amend or cancel a package holiday you must notify us in writing immediately and we will check with the supplier to see if it is possible to meet your request and will then confirm the charges that apply. In addition to any charge levied by the supplier, an administration fee will be charged by Hi Traveller Worldwide. Deposits will always be non-refundable.

3. Hotels
When you book hotel accommodation your contract will be with the accommodation provider and the accommodation provider’s terms and conditions will apply in addition to those of Hi Traveller Worldwide. They should therefore be checked before the booking is made. If you wish to cancel or amend your accommodation booking you must notify Hi Traveller Worldwide as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours prior to your departure from the UK. If it is possible to meet your request, Hi Traveller Worldwide will apply an administration charge as well as any charge that may be imposed by the accommodation supplier. Deposits will always be non-refundable.

Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. Star ratings quoted will be those applied by the accommodation supplier and may be different to the official ratings. It is essential that you check details of your chosen accommodation on the supplier’s website to ensure that facilities, board arrangements, location, etc. are suitable and what you understand to have been offered to you.

Clients should be aware that whilst accommodation suppliers always endeavour to ensure that hotels will not be changed, sometimes hoteliers are unable to honour bookings and under those circumstances the accommodation supplier or hotelier will offer alternative accommodation of equivalent standard. If the hotel is of the same rating and in the same resort as that originally booked it will not be considered to be a significant change and it will not therefore be possible to cancel the hotel reservation without penalty. You should also keep in mind that even if you can cancel your accommodation and obtain a partial or whole refund you may not be able to cancel flights that may have been booked separately on a non-refundable basis.

4. General
In order to make a purchase from Hi Traveller Worldwide you must be over 18 years old and you are deemed to accept financial responsibility on behalf of all party members for any transactions made under your name or account. Please ensure that the details you give match those on your credit card billing statement. Failure to supply the correct credit or debit card billing address and/or cardholder details may result in the booking process being delayed and it is possible that during the interim period the flight or accommodation you have requested may become unavailable or the cost of the flight or accommodtion may increase. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel bookings immediately if payment is declined or incorrect cardholder details and/or billing information has been supplied. Please note that full payment must be received by Hi Traveller Worldwide no later than 12 weeks prior to travel. Reminders will not be issued for collection of final balances. After this time we will charge an administration fee of £15.00 per booking and if we cannot contact you we reserve the right to debit the monies outstanding plus the administration fee from the original card used to make your booking. A handling fee of 2 % on a credit card will be levied on all payments. If we do not receive balance payments at the appropriate time we reserve the right to cancel the booking and the relevant cancellation charges will apply.

This user agreement is between you and Hi Traveller Worldwide and is governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you need to contact us about any aspect of your booking or about these terms and conditions, please do so, making sure that you have your reference number to hand. Note that we can only discuss the booking with the lead name on the booking as he or she will be deemed to be the person who made the reservation.

5. Passports/Visas/Health Requirements
It is incumbent upon you to make all appropriate checks with the relevant authorities to ensure that you meet the passport, visa, and health requirements of the countries you wish to visit and those that you transit (even if it is for a plane change). Many countries demand that your passport should be valid for a period of (a minimum) six months from the date of arrival into that country. Hi Traveller Worldwide will not accept any responsibility if you should be denied boarding or be deported due to your failure to present the appropriate documentation when requested.

6. Insurance
Hi Traveller Worldwide strongly urges you to carry appropriate travel insurance to cover you for cancellation, health, baggage etc.

7. Data Protection and Privacy Policy

This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name, your address, your phone number and your credit card details.

This is of course subject to the proviso that we may disclose your data to certain permitted third parties, such as members of our own group, our own professional advisers who are bound by confidentiality codes, and when we are legally obliged to disclose your data.

Hi Traveller Worldwide retains and uses your personal information to provide you with the best service possible and may also use the information to process any transactions you undertake with us and for internal administration and analysis. However, Hi Traveller Worldwide will not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your express consent.

In the UK we operate and are registered in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
